Sorry to all my blog readers.  I’ve been a little busy lately and have moved house.  I’m hoping to get back to normal in July and will try and give my blog some TLC then (as well as catching up on all of my favourite blogs I like to read!)

Anyway… I couldn’t believe my luck when I turned up at the D’s house.  Four stunningly good looking children and a fabulous location too!  All the kids were such a delight and little miss B was a super little model

3 Gorgeous Children

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing the three gorgeous children of the Dent family.  Don’t they have the most amazing eyes!

 

Smash the Cake – 1st Birthday Sessions

Introducting my new 1st Birthday Sessions.  Held in my home studio, these sessions cost just $200 including 6 digital images with a 7×5 print of each digital image.  As a birthday bonus you will also receive a 7×5 digial birthday invitation (ready for printing).   For a smash the cake session you can either bring your own cake or I can supply a giant cupcake for $30 extra. 

Meet the gorgeous Isabella who will be one next month!  She was such a delight   All the best for a happy birthday next month!  Thanks to her mum for making such a great cake too!  Pity none of got to eat any :LOL:

 

 

Catching up

Last weekend I caught up with some fellow Ipswich EB members for some photography tips.  Anita, who’s expecting next week was a very co-operative model for my first ever maternity photos…. and aren’t her daughters cute too.

 

Emotion

I have a little project coming up with a beautiful CAC model for some expressive/emotive head shots.  So to get in a little practice, H agreed to a mini session.  Mini alright… it lasted for 3 minutes!

First Day of School

H was up nice and early today… all excited because it was his first day of school.

Happy Australia Day (and Chinese New Year)

Wow, I can never remember this happening before… Chinese New Year and Australia Day falling on the same day…

Last night we went to our local chinese and H had a ball when the new year festivities started.  I wish I took my camera.  The excitement was so cute!

Today, our plans for Australia day went out the window as it was raining.  We’ve been stuck playing indoors most of the day.  H has been keeping us busy though but agree’d to a few photos for Nanna and Pa after he was dressed up in his Australian gear.

 

He is wearing is Aussie flag shorts from cult surfing but none of these show them off… oh well.

Amanda

Yesterday morning while most of Brisbane was still asleep…. I joined Glen http://www.flickr.com/photos/21854798@N07/ my photo buddy Kylie http://www.kylieeatherphotography.wordpress.com and Model Amanda http://www.modelmayhem.com/882179 for a shot Glen had arranged for Amanda’s Dally portfolio.  Unfortunately I missed taking photos at the shed and open field in the sweet sweet morning light and was too chicken to take them down on the weir, but I did get some in a little spot we found off the beaten track.  Here’s a peak of our location by the side of the track and a few of Amanda.  Oh and the chair is a lovely new addition of mine I picked up locally a few weeks ago

3 Gorgeous Boys

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Z, A & J   3 stunning little men that are going to break many hearts in the years to come.  Baby J was the happiest little baby and had the cutest smile.    Enjoy your sneak peak R & P.  The gallery will be ready in the next 2 weeks

2009 Projects

2009 is going to be a BIG year for me. I will be studying my master in accounting and sustainable business as well but feel I need to keep my creative juices flowing so I’ve planned two themed shoots for next year.

My first being with my favourite subjects….. kids!

Project 1
As part of the my CAC projects for next year, we have teamed up with Candice Collier at PRINCESS RATBAG (www.princessratbag.com) to do a really girly girl shoot of all her fabulous range of pettiskirts, pettidress, tops etc.

At this stage we have some wonderful young aspiring models on board but require a couple more in the age of 3 – 6. The shoot is scheduled for April/May and will be in the brisbane region. All arrangement are on a TF* (CD).

I am very excited to be shooting for this Brisbane Fashion Label and if we ever have a little girl I would love to have a wardrobe full of her wonderful clothes

Project 2
My second half of the year project is still in the planning stage but will involve recreating some famous fairytale scenes with some beautiful models that have agreed to come on board for the project.
